BIG DOG IN ACTION
Georgia World Congress Center Bridge Project
Atlanta, GA
This 118-feet single T-bridge which spanned across a set of train tracks
and loading docks for the Georgia World Congress Center and the CNN Center
in downtown Atlanta had many challenges. We worked around a train schedule
that ran every 30 minutes and an access road to the busiest receiving
docks in the Atlanta area, The Georgia World Congress Center. We utilized
a 200-ton crane to fly the single T's to the ground and then hammered
the concrete for hauling. This project was completed safely in just two
weeks.
